The block is 20mm Australian Hoop Pine ply, which is sustainably grown and milled in Queensland Australia. Your image is printed in the studio on beautiful Hahnemuhle cotton rag paper and mounded on the woodblock. After mounting, the print edges are hand sanded for a beautiful rustic finish and sealed with a a Fine Art varnish for protection.
Care: The varnish contains UltraViolet Light Stabilisers (UVLS) to help reduce inevitable UV fading. It also protects the artwork from dust and moisture damage. The surface of the block can be lightly dusted with a soft cloth, however it will scratch if mistreated. If treated with care, your Woodland Blocks should stand the test of time.
